Using LinkPoint
VirtualCheck Through LinkPoint Basic
LinkPoint VirtualCheck can be easily integrated
into a merchant's Web site along with the HTML script
used for LinkPoint Basic. Customers electing to
pay for goods or services by check are prompted
to enter check information into a simple browser-based
form. The check transaction data is stored in the
LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway for processing,
and the merchant's online reports are updated in
real time.
Using LinkPoint VirtualCheck Through LinkPoint
Select API
LinkPoint Select API allows electronic check acceptance
to be integrated into the merchant's Web site. Customers
electing to pay for goods or services by check are
prompted to enter check information into a form
created and maintained on the merchant's Web site.
Check data is sent to the LinkPoint Secure Payment
Gateway through an SSL connection for processing,
and the merchant's online reports are updated in
real time.
Using LinkPoint VirtualCheck Through Virtual
LinkPoint
The merchant can enter check information through
the VirtualCheck Sale screen. Data read from the
customer's check is keyed by the merchant into a
simple browser-based form on an Internet-connected
computer. The check transaction data is stored in
the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway for processing,
and the merchant's online reports are updated in
real time. |
LinkPoint VirtualCheck is a value-added enhancement to LinkPoint
Select API, LinkPoint Basic and Virtual LinkPoint, which allows
merchants to accept and process electronic check payments
using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. LinkPoint VirtualCheck
transactions are captured through the LinkPoint Secure Payment
Gateway, and check batches are automatically presented for
settlement each day. The check processing system debits the
customer's checking account via the automated clearing house
(ACH) and then transfers the funds to the merchant's direct
deposit account.
